November 8: Adult Religious Education session, "What do we do in Meeting for Worship?"

  • For many who are relatively new to Quaker practice, it can be unclear what to expect, and what to do, in Meeting for Worship.
  • And for experienced Quakers, there can be different ways of settling and worshipping.  What is the intent of Quaker worship, and what does worship mean for Quakers?  What do you do in Meeting for Worship?  How do you "center down"?
  • Are you curious about what other Friends do?  If you have ever wondered about any of these questions, join us on Nov. 8, for a deep dive into exploring them.
  • The session will take place at 9:15 in Room 211, in the Groome Building.
  • The Groome Building is the large building located up some stairs and to the left as you walk out of the Meeting House. After you enter, you will be in a large room.  Proceed to the back left, and enter a hallway, which will take you to an open classroom.  Go to your right and enter a hallway – turn left and go to the end.  You will find Room 211 on the left.
