The BFM Meeting House

Bethesda Friends (Quakers) gather together for about an hour each Sunday morning. We call this Meeting for Worship. Most people attend the 11:00 a.m. Meeting for Worship.

Sunday Schedule:

11:00 - Worship begins. Everyone is urged to arrive a little early to get settled in the Meeting room. Extra seating is available in the adjacent Library. (Child care for infants-preK is available.)

Children K-8 attend Worship with their parents for the first 15 minutes (until 11:15) before going to First Day School for Religious Education.

12:15 - Refreshments in the Library. [Note: On the second Sunday of the month, a potluck lunch is held in the All-Purpose room of the Groome Building. There is always enough food for everyone.]

LOCATION: All Meetings for Worship are in the Meetinghouse on the Sidwell Friends Lower School campus.

Please see our detailed schedule or our Calendar for more information and periodic changes.
