Workshop on the Peace Testimony

On Sunday, December 3, 1:00 to 3:30 p.m., Alicia McBride, Senior Director for Quaker Leadership at Friends Committee on National Legislation, will lead an interactive workshop on the Peace Testimony. Quakers have witnessed for peace for more than 350 years. And yet, our faith calls us not to rest on the words and actions of others, but to keep listening for how Spirit leads us today. What are its implications in this geopolitical moment? How Bethesda Friends Meeting might be led to engage as peace builders? We will meet in the Meeting House.
