Quaker Urgent Call for Democracy

  • November 15, 2023
  • 8:00 PM
  • via Zoom

In our continuing effort to connect you to meaningful ways to take action to protect our democracy, we cordially invite you to an exclusive Quaker Call Connect To Action Zoom session with Represent.us on Wednesday, November 15, from 8:00 to 9:30 p.m.: Fixing Our Democracy Through State-By-State Anti-Corruption Campaigns. Learn how Represent.us is working to fix our democracy through focused state-by-state pro-voter, anti-corruption campaigns to end the influence of money in politics, make elections accessible and secure for all, demand accountability and transparency in governing, and challenge the two-party duopoly. You'll hear about how they are building a movement and supporting campaigns around the country for ranked choice voting, independent redistricting commissions, limiting foreign influence on state elections, and more. Presenters: Sue Fothergill, National Deputy Mobilization Director, and Dave O'Brien, Policy Director. To register for the Zoom session, see: https://quakercall.net/connect-to-action.
