On Sunday, August 20 at 12:15 p.m., Mazin Qumsiyeh will discuss the Palestinian/Israeli conflict at a Second Hour presentation at Adelphi Friends Meeting. Focusing on the tradition of nonviolent resistance in the West Bank and Gaza, he offers a message of hope. Mazin left a distinguished career as an evolutionary biologist and geneticist in the US to found an environmental institute in his native Bethlehem, a beautiful act of nonviolent resistance of his own.
