BFM Outing to Glenstone

Join the BFM Outreach & Communications Committee for a casual gathering in July! We would like to offer an opportunity for people to gather and connect at Glenstone, a local art venue in Potomac, (12100 Glen Road, https://www.glenstone.org/) “Glenstone is a place that seamlessly integrates art, architecture, and nature into a serene and contemplative environment.” Our committee has secured 40 tickets (all free) to visit the outdoor/indoor art venue together on Saturday, July 16. This opportunity is open to anyone 12 years and older. (Glenstone does not allow younger children to visit.) We plan to meet at the entrance to Glenstone at 10:00 a.m. on July 16, and people can visit the indoor and outdoor exhibits together or in small groups. The group tickets do not include a specific group tour of the exhibits, but staff who work in each of the exhibit rooms are always engaging with the guests. Glenstone has an outdoor café patio where people can order beverages and food, if interested. Though there is free parking at the venue, we encourage carpooling if possible; you can also take the Ride-On bus #301 from Rockville Metro. Since we have a limited number of tickets, you have to sign up using our Contact Us form or the link on the July 10 weekly bulletin.
