Bethesda Friends in Action

Navigation Map Social action is a large part of many Quakers' faith. This page highlights some of the ways that members and attenders of Bethesda Friends Meeting are putting their Quaker faith into practice. Contact information is provided if you'd like more information or want to get involved. The actions described here do not necessarily represent the overall sentiment of the entire body that makes up Bethesda Friends Meeting.
  • For information on current peace & social justice issues, the Quaker perspective and what you can do about them, please visit the Friends Committee on National Legislation. Look especially at Action Alerts.

  • The BFM Services Exchange (delivered via email) is a project of the BFM Advancement & Outreach Committee and can be used by all of us to be supportive of one another as the need, occasion, or opportunity arises. This includes books, hobbies, and events you would recommend; fun things to do together; and other items similar to those above. A new edition is put out whenever there are three or four new items (about every two weeks). Send items to bethesdafm@igc.org or call 301-320-5083! Use same to subscribe if you're not already!
